Just a question...

I got Fallout: New Vegas a while ago (which was great, btw) but something has been bothering me; occasionally, and it seems to only happen at night, I'll hear a quiet, evil laugh. I've heard it near a field full of ghouls, as well as near and inside a giant ant tunnel. Does anyone know what this is? Is it significant to the plot later on, or did Bethesda just add it to be creepy?

    Do you have a follower with you? If so, which one? If it's Boone, than that's what it is. Not sure if others do that.
